Job summary

Ottawa Catholic School Board is seeking energetic, mature and flexible supply staff for their Extended Day Programs in Ottawa. Staff supervise children aged 4 to 12 across various programs and locations, assisting with activities and ensuring a safe, engaging environment.

Applicants should have education in Child and Youth Work or related fields, experience with young children, and current First Aid/CPR certification.

Job Description:

The Ottawa Catholic School Board is seeking energetic, mature and flexible supply staff for their Extended Day Programs.

Supply staff assist in the supervision of children ages 4 to 12 years in a variety of programs located throughout the Ottawa area.

Required Qualifications:

• Consideration will be given to those who have successfully graduated from the Child and Youth Worker, Developmental Service Worker, or Recreation & Leisure programs ;
• Candidates must have experience working with Kindergarten and/or School Age children;
• valid First Aid and CPR.

Preferred:

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education;
• Current registration with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators;

Annual (or Hourly) Salary: The hourly rate for the Extended Day Program is $20.18.
