The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board is seeking a dedicated Early Learning Assistant to support after-school childcare within the Extended Day Program, under the guidance of the Early Childhood Educator. Required qualifications include a high school diploma, at least one year of post-secondary childcare experience, valid First Aid/CPR, and a recent Police Record Check.

Working under the direction of the Early Childhood Educator, the Early Learning Assistant (Extended Day Program) assists in the provision of childcare to students after school (including professional activity day and school break periods); enhancing child-based play; encouraging and guiding, and modeling appropriatebehaviourtechniques. Performs other duties to support the overall objectives and goals of theprogram. Aworking knowledge of English is required.
$19.79 + 4% vacation pay/hour.
