Job summary

FortisBC in Kamloops, BC is seeking a Project Manager to lead capital projects from concept to completion, ensuring safety, quality and timely delivery. You will coordinate across internal teams and external partners, applying sound scope, budget, schedule and risk management.

In year one you will learn FortisBC processes and tools, build relationships with stakeholders, and promote safety. In year two you will expand PMO practices, foster effective teams and advance continuous improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent
• 4–7 years of project management experience or equivalent
• PMP designation is an asset and willingness to obtain it

Responsibilities

• Lead capital projects from early concept through final completion.
• Coordinate and foster collaboration across internal teams and external partners.
• Apply strong fundamentals in scope, budget, schedule and risk management.
• Oversee planning, permitting, construction oversight and close-out.
• Build alignment across engineers, contractors and community partners.
