Through provincial funding to address classroom complexity, Fort McMurray Public Schools has established Complexity Team Lead positions to provide enhanced support and stability for students and staff in high-needs environments.

Assigned to École McTavish High School for the 2026-27 school year, this teacher will

provide consistent, in-class support for students with complex learning needs. This role is not assigned to a single classroom, but instead functions as a flexible, responsive support across the school, working collaboratively with staff and, where applicable, as part of a complexity team supported by educational assistants.

This role focuses on providing immediate, real-time support to address classroom complexity.

Key Responsibilities:
