Irving Oil is seeking an Emergency Response Coordinator to advance the EMBC program across the organization. You will strengthen preparedness, coordinate exercises, and improve documentation while partnering with teams to implement best practices.

Responsibilities include software administration, AAR documentation, and supporting incident activations. Travel across North America and internationally may be required; 5+ years in related fields is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Strong knowledge of emergency management principles, practices and frameworks.
• Excellent project coordination and organizational skills.
• Ability to translate best practices into formal procedures and work instructions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement across all levels.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work under pressure.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Experience using enterprise software platforms for EMBC reporting and data management.
• Experience with AI tools for reporting and process improvement.

Aufgaben

• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of emergency management and business continuity programs.
• Coordinate activities to strengthen preparedness, response capabilities and resilience.
• Collaborate with operations to adopt best practices in emergency response.
• Administer emergency management software, including training, contact management, and reporting.
• Plan, execute and evaluate emergency response exercises and tests.
• Document After Action Reviews and turn findings into procedures and action plans.
• Develop and maintain emergency response, crisis, and business continuity docs.
• Support activations and provide coordination during incidents as required.
• Participate in audits and continuous improvement of the OMS.
