Job summary

ServiceMaster of the Fraser Valley is seeking a hands-on supervisor to lead Emergency Technicians in Abbotsford and nearby areas. The role focuses on proper mitigation procedures, equipment operation, and timely project completion.

Qualified candidates bring 3+ years in restoration, a Water Restoration Technician Certification if possible, and a clean driving record. Strong leadership, English communication, and the ability to handle lifting duties are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in the restoration industry (preferred).
• Water Restoration Technician Certification (preferred).
• Clean Criminal Record Check.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Experience driving and parking a panel van and cube truck.
• Ability to lift industrial fans (30-40 lbs).
• Ability to load/unload wheeled industrial dehumidifiers (75-100 lbs).
• Knowledge of construction and basic building materials.

Responsibilities

• Train Emergency Technicians on job execution, ensuring correct procedures are followed, including the proper use of Encircle.
• Oversee the correct operation of mitigation equipment such as dehumidifiers, air movers, and other restoration tools.
• Ensure timely completion of all projects, meeting or exceeding company standards.
• Offer constructive feedback and create opportunities for team development.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols to protects employees and clients.
• Regularly inspect projects and conduct quality assurance checks to ensure satisfaction.
• Provide continuous training for team members to keep their skills up to date.
• Offer back up support to the Emergency Manager when needed.
