Job summary

Scarborough Health Network is seeking an Emergency Department Data Reporting Analyst to ensure accurate collection, validation and reporting of ED data using EPIC and other systems. You will work with physicians and leadership to monitor key performance indicators and support operational planning.

The role requires a health information management background, strong analytical skills, and experience in a high-volume clinical setting.

Qualifications

• College diploma or equivalent in data management, health information management, or related field.
• Minimum two years of healthcare experience in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Knowledge of ED operations, clinical documentation, and healthcare reporting.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Collect, validate, analyze, and reconcile ED data to support operational and performance reporting.
• Review reports from EPIC and other systems; investigate discrepancies and ensure data accuracy.
• Monitor ED indicators such as patient volumes, wait times, flow metrics, and admissions.
• Collaborate with physicians, leadership, and IT to improve data quality and reporting processes.
• Prepare routine and ad hoc reports to support priorities.
