Job summary

Securitas Technology Canada is seeking an Embedded Service Technician to support the Halifax Airport. You will diagnose and repair security systems, follow up on service calls, and ensure compatibility with company policies and procedures.

You’ll work with access control and CCTV platforms, plan upgrades with IT, and thrive in a fast-paced, security-focused environment. You may operate on door hardware and RAIC access procedures, with potential certifications enhancing opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs to faulty security systems.

• May repair door hardware/operators and assist with airport access processes.

Embedded Service Technician - Halifax Airport

• Carry out repairs to faulty security systems
• Follow up on service calls in order of priority according to importance;
• Carry out repairs to defective systems assigned to him according to company norms and standards;
• Ensure that the correct recommendations for use are passed on to customers
• Ensure follow-up of customer service according to company policies and procedures;
• Transmit usage recommendations to customers;
• Provide the best service to the customer in compliance with company policies and procedures;
• Ensure follow-up of customer service

• Produce a report on service calls made;
• Experience in both Access Control and CCTV systems;
• Bonus if certified C-Cure9000 and Milestone. Triple bonus if you also have BriefCam certification.
• May be asked to repair door hardware / operators.
• Will be asked to go through the RAIC process to get access to the restricted areas of the airport.
• Will work with IT staff to plan and execute system upgrades.
