Job summary

Securitas Technology Canada is seeking a Field Service/Installation Technician for on-site work in West BC. The role involves repairing security systems, prioritizing service calls, and delivering compliant, customer-focused service in alignment with company standards.

Candidates must have a valid training certificate for listed products (Lenel, AMAG, Avigilon, Milestone, Genetec, C-Cure, Alarm.com) and at least 3 years of field experience with electronic security systems.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid training certificate in one or more of the listed product platforms.
• Minimum 3 years of recent experience as a field service or installation technician at an electronic security company.
• This role must be part of the United Steelworkers UNION.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs to faulty security systems
• Follow up on service calls in order of priority according to importance
• Carry out repairs to defective systems assigned to him according to company norms and standards
• Ensure that the correct recommendations for use are passed on to customers
• Ensure follow-up of customer service according to company policies and procedures
• Transmit usage recommendations to customers
• Provide the best service to the customer in compliance with company policies and procedures
• Ensure follow-up of customer service
• Produce a report on service calls made
