Job summary

Securitas Technology Canada is seeking an Embedded Service Technician to perform on-site repairs and system upgrades for Halifax Airport, focusing on access control and CCTV installations. You will handle service calls, complete detailed reports, and coordinate with IT staff for upgrades.

The role requires hands-on installation and repair work, door hardware tasks, and adherence to company policies. Day-one benefits, training, and future growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with access control and CCTV systems.
• Bonus if certified in C-Cure9000 and Milestone; triple bonus for BriefCam.
• May be asked to repair door hardware/operators.
• Will go through RAIC process to access restricted airport areas.
• Will work with IT staff to plan and implement system upgrades.

Responsibilities

Embedded Service Technician - Halifax Airport

• Carry out repairs to faulty security systems
• Follow up on service calls in order of priority according to importance;
• Carry out repairs to defective systems assigned to him according to company norms and standards;
• Ensure that the correct recommendations for use are passed on to customers
• Ensure follow-up of customer service according to company policies and procedures;
• Transmit usage recommendations to customers;
• Provide the best service to the customer in compliance with company policies and procedures;
• Ensure follow-up of customer service

• Produce a report on service calls made;
• Manage repair inventories.
• Experience in both Access Control and CCTV systems;
• Bonus if certified C-Cure9000 and Milestone. Triple bonus if you also have BriefCam certification.

• Will be asked to go through the RAIC process to get access to the restricted areas of the airport.
• Will work with IT staff to plan and execute system upgrades.
