Job summary

School District #45 (West Vancouver) seeks a TA – Supervision Aide for Bowen Island Elementary. Temporary assignment, effective immediately to June 29, 2027, with one position available. Thursday - 2 hours per week. Salary starts at $26.93/hr at Step 1, plus 16% in lieu of benefits.

Reporting to the Principal/designate, the TA provides assistance to teachers, counsellors and the Principal/school office, using both computerized and manual systems, with duties varying by school needs.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 graduation including Information Technology courses.
• Fluency in English and an alternate language (written and spoken).
• Good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of standard office procedures and equipment, or equivalent training/experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers, counsellors and librarian staff as required.
• Support Principal and school office with administrative tasks.
• Adapt to varying duties based on school needs and assignments.
