Job summary

The North Vancouver School District is seeking a Supervision Aide – Casual On Call (School Term) to supervise elementary students and maintain order and safety on school grounds, common areas and classrooms during designated periods.

The role may assist with basic clerical, classroom or library tasks; completion of the 11th grade or equivalent and basic first aid are required. This is a unionized position with pay at CAD 27.59/hour plus 14% in lieu of benefits.

Qualifications

• Completion of the 11th grade or equivalent, plus basic first aid.
• Minimum six months prior experience related to raising children or working with children.

Responsibilities

• Supervise activities of elementary students to maintain order and safety.
• Assist with general clerical, classroom, or library tasks when time allows.
• Follow administrator guidance and policies.
