Job summary

Regent Christian Academy in Surrey, BC is seeking an Elementary Classroom Teacher who is a dedicated, Christ-centered educator. You will foster academic and social development, emphasizing Math and English within a Biblical worldview.

You will design engaging lessons, build a positive classroom culture, assess progress, and collaborate with parents and staff to support every learner.

This full-time, onsite role reports to the Principal and starts as soon as possible for the 2026-2027 school year.

Qualifications

• BC Teaching Certificate is required
• BA Degree in Education (or equivalent) with a relevant specialty
• Christian Education: understanding of Christian education and worldview
• Strong skills in Math and English and classroom management; familiarity with office software

Overview: The Elementary Classroom Teacher must be a dedicated and passionate educator who creates a nurturing, stimulating, and Christ-centered learning environment. They will be responsible for fostering the academic and social development of young minds, with a specific focus on core curriculum areas such as Math and English.

• Professional Growth: Maintain accurate records and participate in professional development to stay current with innovative teaching strategies (such as \"Frenchify\" techniques).
