Immediate start and multiple openings; roles are onsite at Sullivan/Cloverdale Campus with on-call, casual, and variable hours. Benefits include extended health, dental, and pension eligibility for qualified staff.

Qualifications

• Valid BC Class 2 driver’s license.
• A clean driving record is required.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
• First Aid Level 1 certification is required (school-arranged sessions possible).

Responsibilities

• Safe operation: Safely operate a school bus on assigned routes and schedules.
• Student wellbeing: Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during transport.
• Vehicle maintenance: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Environment management: Maintain order and enforce school bus safety rules.
• Professional communication: Communicate professionally with students, parents, and school staff.
• Emergency response: Respond calmly and appropriately to emergencies or unexpected situations.

Position Title: Bus Driver

Regent Christian Academy Society serves children and families across our campus schools, online school, and early learning programs. Regent Christian Academy (RCA) is our flagship campus-based school, serving the community through our Sullivan and Cloverdale campuses in Surrey, BC. Overview: Our Bus Drivers play a vital role in bringing this mission to life by ensuring students from Preschool through Grade 12 have a safe, nurturing, and reliable journey to and from their educational activities.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay: CA $23.00 to $31.00 hourly (based on experience)
