Job summary

Brandt Group of Companies seeks an Electronics Field Technician for our Surrey Positioning Technology location. You will perform installations, calibrations, commissioning, service and repair of electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic components on heavy equipment in field or shop settings.

Responsibilities include inspections, diagnostics, and repairs, managing work orders, and providing customer support. Travel is required; 2+ years experience and electronics training are essential.

• College/university/technical trade program in electronics.
• 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.

Job description

Brandt is currently seeking an Electronic Field Technician for our Surrey Positioning Technology location. This position is responsible for performing installations, calibrations, commissioning, service and repair of various machine control systems. These machine control systems consist of electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic components and are installed on most makes and models of heavy equipment including but not limited to crawler dozers, motor graders, excavators, skid steers, paving systems, etc. These duties may be performed in the field or in a work shop environment.

What You Will Be Responsible For
