Job summary

Brandt Group of Companies seeks an Electronic Field Technician for its Calgary location. You will perform installations, calibrations, commissioning, service and repair of machine control systems on a variety of heavy equipment in field or shop settings.

Ideal candidates have electronics training and 2+ years of experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Travel will be required and opportunities for advancement are available.

Responsibilities

• Performing inspections, testing, diagnostics and repairs on electronic devices and components
• Opening, maintaining, and closing work orders

Brandt is currently seeking an Electronic Field Technician for our Calgary location.

This position is responsible for performing installations, calibrations, commissioning, service and repair of various machine control systems.

These machine control systems consist of electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic components and are installed on most makes and models of heavy equipment including but not limited to crawler dozers, motor graders, excavators, skid steers, paving systems, etc. These duties may be performed in the field or in a work shop environment.

What You Will Be Responsible For
