DCM is hiring for an Industrial Electrician with a Red Seal Journeyman certification. The role supports installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial electrical systems across Canada and beyond.

You will read complex drawings, install wiring, test equipment, and maintain safety and quality standards on site. The position requires adherence to safety rules, ability to interpret manuals, and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualificações

• Ability to read safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Demonstrate practical problem-solving ability and interpret various written, oral, diagram, or scheduling instructions.

Responsabilidades

• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations.
• Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, MI EHT, SR EHT, junction boxes, end kits RTD’s, EHT controllers, and other electrical components.
• Test electrical and electronic equipment for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.
• Maintain, repair, install and test EHT panels, transformers, controllers, and branch circuits.
• Troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial, electrical and electronic control systems.
• Perform QC testing on existing EHT components.
• Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records.
• May have to drive light equipment and light vehicles.
• Inventory and material count; Tools and equipment inspection.
• Gather equipment and material; Develop and review hazard assessments.
