Job summary

Edson Packaging is seeking a Temporary Electrician to support the assembly, installation, and testing of automated packaging equipment. A Red Seal-certified Electrician will read schematics, install components, and troubleshoot electrical issues during assembly and testing.

The role requires strong knowledge of AC/DC wiring, experience with PLCs is a plus, and a commitment to safety. This position offers competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits through ProMach family.

Qualifications

• Valid 442A or 309A Electrician Certificate (Red Seal preferred).
• Previous experience in industrial automation, manufacturing, or machine building.
• Minimum 5 years of electrical experience, including apprenticeship.
• Strong knowledge of AC/DC industrial wiring.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings.
• Experience with PLCs and industrial controls is an asset.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Edson Packaging is seeking a Temporary Electrician. As a Red Seal-certified Electrician, you will be responsible for performing electrical wiring and related tasks to support the assembly, installation, and testing of automated packaging equipment.
