Job summary

ProMach, Inc. in Hamilton, Ontario, is seeking a Red Seal-certified Electrician for a temporary, onsite role to support the assembly, installation, and testing of automated packaging equipment.

You will read electrical drawings, install components, troubleshoot AC/DC wiring, assist with testing and commissioning, and maintain safety standards. Must have 5+ years electrical experience and Red Seal preferred.

Qualifications

• Red Seal certification (442A/309A) or equivalent; Red Seal preferred.
• 5+ years of electrical experience in industrial automation or manufacturing.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
• Experience with PLCs and industrial controls is an asset.
• Strong safety performance and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Read electrical drawings and schematics to complete wiring tasks.
• Install and wire electrical components, panels, motors, and other equipment.
• Perform AC/DC industrial wiring on automated packaging machines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during assembly and testing.
• Assist with equipment testing and commissioning.
• Follow quality, safety, and assembly standards at all times.

• Support basic electrical maintenance as required.
