The role involves:

• Supervising a team of professional Engineers supporting the Global and Challenger wiring design and EWIS MRB, reporting to the Engineering Manager.
• Ensuring continuous improvement in your sector, adhering to plans, supporting production schedules, reducing waste, and enhancing processes.
• Collaborating with Engineering services, Methods, Production, Suppliers, and Partners to optimize overall performance.
• Managing Program Change Requests (PCRs) within the approved budget and schedule.
• Managing Manufacturing Requests for Change (RFCs) based on priority.
• Providing leadership, coaching, and professional development for team members.
• Building team capabilities through recruitment, development, and retention, and managing staff performance.
• Providing visibility on execution, issues, and escalations as needed.
• Leading the performance and development of team members with strong leadership qualities.

How to thrive in this role?

• A Bachelor's or College degree in Engineering or equivalent is required.
• A minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience in aerospace manufacturing is necessary.
• Good experience in Aircraft Electrical Wiring design and participation in complex project development is essential.
• Engineering management experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with Bombardier's engineering and change management processes is advantageous.
• Strong management skills for influencing others, conflict resolution, and problem-solving are required.
• Demonstrated leadership, analytical skills, flexibility, initiative, and ability to work independently are important.
• Results-oriented with the ability to work under pressure and manage urgency.
• Excellent communication skills in French and English, both written and oral.
