We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Engineer to join our team from any of our offices in Toronto, Hamilton, Victoria, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Ottawa, Halifax, or Calgary.

Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer to contribute to the evaluation, design, and management of building projects. This role offers the chance to work on advanced systems, collaborate across disciplines, and develop sustainable, energy-efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide electrical engineering consulting, including system evaluations, feasibility studies, and technical recommendations.
2. Design and oversee electrical systems such as building automation, emergency power, power distribution, electrical service, and lighting.
3. Prepare detailed designs, drawings, and specifications for tendering.
4. Develop documentation for regulatory submissions.
5. Conduct construction reviews to ensure compliance with design standards.
6. Manage contracts and coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and clients.
7. Lead project management activities to ensure timely, budget-conscious delivery.
8. Collaborate with other engineering disciplines for seamless project integration.
9. Stay updated on industry standards, technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
2. Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or eligibility.
3. At least 10 years of experience in electrical engineering consulting, focusing on building systems.
4. Proficiency with design tools like AutoCAD, Revit, or similar.
5. Strong knowledge of Ontario Building Code, Canadian Electrical Code, and relevant standards.
6. Excellent problem-solving and detail-oriented skills.
7. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
