Placements24 seeks an Electrical Design Drafter in Kimberley for a hybrid role combining office work with remote flexibility. You will create and maintain electrical drawings, schematics, and related documentation under Electrical Engineers, contributing to diverse projects within a growing firm.

The ideal candidate has a National Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology and at least 3 years of drafting experience, with strong AutoCAD Electrical skills and detail orientation.

Qualifications

• National Diploma or equivalent in Electrical Engineering Technology.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Electrical Drafter or related role.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical or similar CAD software for electrical drafting.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and layouts according to engineering specifications.
• Ensure drawings adhere to company standards, codes, and client requirements.
• Revise drawings based on engineering changes, site feedback, or project updates.
• Assist engineers in preparing technical documentation including equipment schedules and wiring lists.
• Maintain organized drawing archives and manage revisions effectively.
