Placements24 is seeking an Electrical Draughtsperson/Designer to join our technical team in Kimberley. You will convert engineering concepts into precise electrical drawings, layouts and schematics for power distribution and control systems, adhering to project specs and industry standards.

The ideal candidate has a National Diploma or equivalent, strong AutoCAD Electrical skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Qualifications

• National Diploma or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Draughting.
• Proficient in CAD software with strong accuracy in drawings.
• Knowledge of electrical symbols, standards and terminology.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and layouts using CAD software.
• Assist engineers in design by creating models, diagrams, and component lists.
• Ensure drawings adhere to company standards, client specs, and industry codes (e.g., SANS).
• Review and update existing electrical documentation as required.
• Coordinate with project teams to incorporate design changes and resolve drafting issues.
• Maintain organized drawing archives (electronic and hard copy).
