Our client, a leading global automotive thermal and management supplier manufacturing company, is looking for an Electrical Apprentice to join their growing team in Concord.

Location: Concord, ON

Shifts: All shifts available

Scope:

To work in an apprenticeship position at the Division with a certified Electrician.

Skills and Qualifications:

OSSD and/or Pre-apprenticeship Certificate, Techniques Certificate required.

Experience:

1-2 years of previous apprenticeship experience, 2-5 years of experience, preferably in an automotive or manufacturing environment. Willing to work at heights.

Able to read basic electrical schematics.

Familiar with equipment lockout/tagout procedures. Basic PLC control knowledge.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Treat everyone with dignity, trust, and respect.
• Complete duties and tasks as assigned.
• Repair and maintain all equipment and machines to ensure efficient and safe operation with minimal downtime.
• Interact with maintenance personnel to exchange technical information for troubleshooting and repairs.
• Complete work orders as required.
• Follow the company’s safety rules and plant policies.
• Comply with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 standards, Health & Safety rules, and company policies.
• Understand and adhere to the guidelines in the Employee Handbook.
• Work under supervision, following all safety precautions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
