Job summary

COFOMO in Montreal is seeking an ElasticSearch Developer to join our hybrid team. You will build search tooling, enhance developer experience, and maintain scalable environments across the platform.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in CS and at least four years of backend experience in Java or Python, with cloud skills (AKS/AWS/GCP) and ElasticSearch proficiency. Familiarity with SAFe and CI/CD is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline.
• Minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in one or more backend development languages, including Java or Python.
• Experience with configuring software packages in SaaS mode; cloud technologies (AKS, AWS, GCP).
• Expertise with ElasticSearch and CI/CD practices (GitHub Actions).

• Develop tools that promote an optimal search experience.
• Implement tools to improve the developer experience.
• Contribute to the creation, evolution and maintenance of the environments necessary for the proper functioning of the solutions.

• Conduct a technology watch and share best practices within the team.
