Job summary

Canadian Inclusion in Windsor, ON is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator (Project Management) to develop and implement companywide safety programs and ISO management processes within one or more divisions. The role plans, designs, develops, implements, and evaluates departmental occupational safety programs.

Qualifications

• Safety orientation and training experience preferred.
• Knowledge of OHSA and Regulations advantageous.
• Experience coordinating safety programs across divisions.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for safety orientation, safety training, job site inspections and reporting.
• Maintain awareness of amendments to OHSA and Regulations and implement changes.
• Perform site safety inspections including hazard analyses and safe work procedures.
• Coordinate safety activities with subcontractors and employees.
• Plan, design and evaluate departmental occupational safety programs.
• Provide guidance to field personnel via safety briefings and management on safety issues.
