Job summary

With 3–5 years in safety on construction sites and a college degree in OH&S, you will collaborate with subcontractors, maintain safety metrics, and support the Joint Health & Safety Committee.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years' safety construction experience.
• Certification under the Occupational Health and Safety Act/Regulations preferred or in progress.
• Candidate may hold or be pursuing a National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) credential.
• College degree or certificate in Occupational Health and Safety completed.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for site specific safety including orientations, inspections, submittals, and investigations.
• Identify hazards and direct corrective measures on site.
• Monitor compliance with safety procedures and elevate issues to resolution.
• Organize and conduct WHMIS, Working At Heights, PPE, CPR/First Aid training.
• Coordinate weekly safety audit summaries and safety statistics reporting.
• Support Joint Health & Safety Committees and OHSA compliance.
