Job summary

ENWIN Utilities Ltd. is seeking a Health & Safety Specialist in Windsor, ON to provide expertise on safety-related concerns, guide management on regulatory compliance, and help develop and maintain an effective health and safety management system.

The successful candidate will establish safety program goals and KPIs, manage reporting, and coordinate disability management including WSIB processes, return-to-work, and workplace reintegration while ensuring compliance with OH&S standards.

Qualifications

• University degree in health and safety with 2+ years experience or college diploma with 3+ years experience
• Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulations
• Experience with WSIB reporting and disability management processes
• Strong communication, problem solving, and analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise on health and safety concerns and guidance to management on regulatory compliance and program development
• Investigate safety issues and administer the health and safety management system
• Establish safety program goals, KPIs, and develop safety standards and working practices
• Coordinate disability management, including WSIB reporting and return-to-work processes
