Job summary

A leading manufacturing company is seeking an EHS Coordinator to join their team in Ontario. This role involves driving a strong safety culture by leading risk assessments, audits, and training programs. Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation and its plant-level application.
  • Proven experience in risk analysis, safety audits, incident management, and corrective action planning.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills with the ability to engage all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail when managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead detailed risk analyses, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Develop, deliver, and oversee health and safety training programs for leaders and employees.
  • Manage incident investigations, develop corrective actions, and promote a culture of continuous learning.
  • Oversee PPE use, emergency response planning, and implementation of safety projects.
  • Teach proactive risk management strategies to support organizational change.
