Job description

Prepare and review detailed balance sheet reconciliations; identify accounting and operational risks or issues and propose solutions.

Calculate commissions owed based on invoicing and bookings; review compensation plans and assess their impact on accounting for commissions.

Track maintenance billing and revenue; identify missed billing opportunities; analyze customer attrition; advise Business Units on forecasting and operational issues.

Prepare reports comparing actual GL details with forecasts; proactively identify and correct discrepancies; advise Business Units on necessary changes to GL or forecasts.

Manage project revenue recognition schedules, including calculating monthly revenue, assessing hours to complete, and assisting with Business Unit forecasting.

Utilize reporting software to forecast benefits, payroll taxes, and depreciation, and update actual results for headcount, bookings, and backlog.

Assist with special projects and ad hoc reporting as required by divisional Controller, EVP, and VPs.

What We Are Looking For

1. 4+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis and/or accounting.
2. CPA member or student (or member/student of a similar professional accounting body).
3. Effective communicator with experience working with all management levels.
4. Solutions-focused mindset with a desire to improve processes.
5. Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
