Description

You’re a seasoned Project Director with over 10 years of experience working on complex healthcare projects. You will develop and execute project plans and schedules, ensure the highest safety and quality standards for an exciting healthcare operations project. You have a proven track record for meetings, budgets, schedules, and scope management for demanding projects and clients.

This position is based in Toronto, Ontario, and requires the successful candidate to be local or willing to relocate. Relocation assistance will be provided.

• Demonstrates leadership in health, safety, and environmental protection on the project. Applies the requirements of the Project Specific Safety Program (PSSP) to promote overall compliance with Ledcor HS&E standards, applicable OH&S acts, regulations, and codes with all employees and subcontractors.
• Creates and / or facilitates the Project Quality Program to ensure project materials are supplied and work is completed accordingly.
• Ensures that projects are built according to approved plans, specifications, shop drawings, and applicable building codes, maintaining quality standards.
• Develops and maintains the construction schedule in conjunction with the project team to meet milestones and completion dates.
• Leads project meetings with internal and external stakeholders to monitor and support project progression.
• Provides strong leadership to construction team members, leveraging individual and group strengths to meet project targets.
• Identifies and manages opportunities and risks to optimize schedule and financial outcomes.
• Maintains, tracks, and reports all financial aspects of the project, including forecasts and billings.
• Manages procurement processes, including negotiations and awards for subcontractors, trades, and suppliers.

Qualifications :

• 10+ years of experience as a Senior Project Manager on complex commercial, industrial, or healthcare construction projects.
• Experience managing projects valued at $80M+.
• Post-secondary education in Construction, Engineering, or related disciplines is an asset.
• Knowledge of construction documents, drawings, specifications, costs, budgets, and current practices.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to analyze problems, identify solutions, and anticipate issues.
• Experience in managing constructability issues and creating solutions.
• Strong negotiation, leadership, mentoring, and conflict resolution skills.
• Valid driver’s license.

Working Conditions :

• Site-based role.
