St. Francis de Sales Oratory is a Roman Catholic Church in St. Louis, MO, under the care of the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest.
The mission of the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest is to spread the reign of Christ in all spheres of human life by drawing from the rich treasury of the Roman Catholic Church, particularly her liturgical tradition, the unbroken line of spiritual thought and practice of her Saints, and her cultural patrimony in music, art, and architecture.
Located in Fox Park, an urban neighborhood in South St. Louis, St. Francis de Sales Oratory is a significant and beautiful historic structure that has served as a beacon of light and peace, a sanctuary that elevates the spirit and makes the presence of God tangible. We are undertaking a multi-phased capital restoration and improvement project, a crucial effort as our attendance grows, visitors increase, and new institutional partnerships emerge.
Position Summary
The Campaign Manager is an organized self-starter who will help to implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to support the growth and mission of St. Francis de Sales Oratory.
A primary focus will be managing Beauty Reborn, the capital campaign dedicated to restoring and revitalizing the Oratory. The Campaign Manager will work closely with the Rector, Rev. Canon Benjamin Coggeshall, campaign leadership, campaign consultant, and external partners to ensure successful campaign execution through donor engagement, events, and strategic fundraising efforts.
This is an independent contractor position for twenty months, for the duration of the campaign. Near the end of this period, it is suggested that we review performance and assess the need and opportunity for further contract services. While some work may be performed remotely, regular onsite presence is required, including weekly office hours and in-person meetings with the Rector to review progress, set objectives, and assess completion of tasks.
