South East Cornerstone Public School Division is seeking an Educational Assistant to support students with diverse needs at Carnduff Education Complex. The role involves implementing life skills and academic plans under teacher direction, ensuring safety, and assisting with behavior support.

The ideal candidate will have a Grade 12 diploma (educational assistant credentials preferred), flexibility, and the ability to collaborate within a school team.

Formación

• Must have Grade 12 diploma or higher.
• Educational assistant diploma or equivalent preferred.
• NVCI, First Aid and autism/behavioral background are assets.

Responsabilidades

• Support students with diverse needs and/or high behavioral needs.
• Attend to personal hygiene and medical needs as required.
• Prepare and plan student-based life skills and academic programming.
• Assist in transitioning students to work with others and adults.
• Supervise students with intensive needs and small groups as required.
