Job summary

Cascadia Metals is hiring a Sales Support Representative for the Edmonton office in a permanent, full-time role. You will enter sales orders, monitor inventory, and coordinate inbound shipments while ensuring on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• A post-secondary degree is preferred.

• Some experience in customer service and sales is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Data entry, including entering sales orders and completing periodic system updates (e.g., quarterly pricing updates, coil tag date maintenance, and reserving new tags to blanket orders).
• Monitoring the status of incoming inventory, including interbranch transfers, to ensure timely receipt for order fulfillment.
• Following up on customer orders to ensure they are completed and delivered on time; identifying potential issues in advance and notifying the team to prevent delays.
• Recording and tracking order delivery statistics.
• Obtaining proof of delivery (POD) from internal teams or third-party carriers and providing documentation to customers as required.
• Supporting the Inventory Coordinator by monitoring vessel ETAs and communicating any significant changes.
• Coordinating inbound container shipments with the Edmonton warehouse, including tracking location and status during final transit and ensuring timely arrival for offloading.
• Updating receiving records once inventory is received from container shipments.
