Responsibilities include achieving territory objectives, developing business plans, and building long-term customer relationships. Applicants should have 1–3 years of direct sales experience in the metal industry, vehicle ownership, and willingness to travel overnight.

Cascadia Metals is actively seeking qualified candidates for the position of Inside/Outside Sales Representative to work from our head office, Delta branch. In this permanent, full-time role, we are looking for a driven team member, who shares our champion's mindset and values. The successful candidates must have a strong work ethic, passion to be part of the team

Responsibilities:

• Achieve territory business objectives, including sales goals and growth targets.
• Develop, implement, and execute a comprehensive territory business plan.
• Prospect and cold call to establish new customer relationships and generate additional business.
• Maintain and strengthen partnerships with existing customers while building long-term relationships with new clients.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of products and their applications.
• Provide support to the inside sales team as needed.
• Actively pursue opportunities to position the company's products and services in the market.
• Promote and maintain strong customer relationships by addressing inquiries, fulfilling customer needs, and resolving issues effectively.
• Collaborate with sales and administrative teams to prepare proposals, create quotes, and process customer orders.
• Utilize a consultative sales approach to enhance customer relationships in all aspects, including product recommendations and support.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1-3 years of direct sales experience in the metal industry
• Vehicle ownership (driver's abstract may be requested)
• Ability for overnight travel (during weekdays)
• A post-secondary degree and previous experience in steel industry
• Preference will be given to candidates with prior sales experience
