Troy Life & Fire Safety Ltd. is recruiting an experienced Fire Product Sales Representative to join our Edmonton, AB team.

The successful candidate will maintain and secure orders for the branch, providing pricing for Fire Alarm, Security, Nurse call, and related systems, including 3rd party products. The role involves establishing contractor and engineer contacts, supporting sales with quotations, and collaborating with our sales team.

Qualifications

• 2-year Community College diploma or equivalent technical experience.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• 2 years experience in the Fire Alarm industry or related field.
• 3-5 years experience in Fire, Security, or Nursecall Product Sales or Sales Training.
• Knowledge of Edwards fire and signalling products is an asset.
• Strong communication, organizational and time management skills.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Establish contacts with contractors, engineers and suppliers to promote Edwards fire and signalling specifications and sale of our products and services.
• Provide product and quotation support to sales representatives and customer service.
• Assist with quotations and provide support to existing sales personnel.
• We are looking for a self-starter who is comfortable both with cold-calling prospective clients and with working with our existing sales team members.
• Evaluate new product opportunities by introducing them into the marketplace.
