Job summary

Shiseido Canada is seeking a Specialist, Ecommerce to support the growth and performance of our direct-to-consumer websites across the brand portfolio, including Shiseido.ca and Drunk Elephant.ca.

You will drive online sales, support digital customer acquisition, retention, content updates, and site optimization, coordinating launches and campaigns while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional online shopping experiences.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years’ experience in an e-commerce role.
  • Experience with ecommerce platforms such as Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce merchandising, promotions, website management, and customer experience best practices.
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics (GA4) and ecommerce performance reporting.
  • Experience executing online promotional campaigns and product launches.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects and multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Self-starter with a passion for ecommerce, digital innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience with Jira, project management tools, SEO, affiliate marketing, and digital media channels is considered an asset.
  • University degree or college diploma in Business, Marketing, Ecommerce, Digital Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Bilingualism (French and/or Mandarin) is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day ecommerce operations, content updates, and merchandising across Shiseido Canada's DTC websites to drive product visibility, conversion, and revenue growth.
  • Execute product launches, promotional campaigns, and seasonal initiatives, including setup of site content, offers, gift-with-purchase programs, and promo codes.
  • Maintain and optimize product, category, and landing pages to ensure accuracy, brand consistency, SEO/GEO best practices, and exceptional customer experience.
  • Partner with Online Merchandising, ADX, IT, Global Brand teams, and external agencies to support website enhancements, and ongoing site optimization.
  • Coordinate ecommerce intake requests and JIRA ticket management to support campaign execution and platform improvements.
  • Act as point contact on all Tier 3 customer service escalations collaborating with ADX CX team on case resolution, service feedback and operational updates.
  • Support the development and execution of the ecommerce sales and promotional calendar aligned with business objectives and growth targets.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve customer acquisition, engagement, retention, conversion rate, average order value, and overall customer experience.
  • Monitor customer journey, ratings and reviews performance, and website engagement metrics to recommend optimizations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support SEO, paid media, email marketing, and content initiatives that drive qualified traffic, engagement, and sales.

Job Summary

The Specialist, Ecommerce is responsible for supporting the growth and performance of Shiseido Canada's direct-to-consumer ecommerce business across our portfolio of brand websites, including Shiseido.ca, NARSCosmetics.ca, CledePeauBeaute.ca, and DrunkElephant.ca.

Reporting to the Associate Manager, Ecommerce, this role plays a key part in driving online sales, and supports digital customer acquisition, customer retention, merchandising excellence, and website optimization. The Specialist will execute promotional campaigns, coordinate product launches, manage digital content updates, analyze performance metrics, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional online shopping experiences.

This position requires a highly organized, detail-oriented, and analytical individual with a passion for ecommerce, digital marketing, and customer experience.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Monitor, analyze, and report on ecommerce performance, including sales, traffic, conversion, customer behavior, and key business KPIs.
  • Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to optimize website performance, merchandising strategies, and promotional effectiveness.
  • Support inventory planning, sales forecasting, and promotional demand planning in partnership with Sales & Operations teams.
