Overview

Join to apply for the Ecommerce Manager, North America role at Kicking Horse Coffee.

Base pay range: CA$90,000.00/yr - CA$110,000.00/yr.

YOUR DAILY MISSION: Make us the number one branded choice for online-shopping coffee lovers across North America.

What you’ll do

As champion of the online channel, you will play a major role in growing our brand across all ecommerce platforms. You will build relationships with consumers through multiple touchpoints, prioritizing a consumer journey mindset. You will develop a marketing and commercial strategy for our brand website and online marketplaces, leverage insights to optimize digital communications, and implement campaigns to achieve targeted growth. This role can be performed remotely from home.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary business unit lead of the ecommerce channel, accountable for omnichannel business, including DTC and online marketplaces.
  • Build and lead an ecommerce sales and marketing strategy that supports North American growth across digital shelf.
  • Optimize the ecommerce go-to-market model, including promotional planning, profitability, fulfillment, and logistics.
  • Use data-driven insights and KPIs to optimize traffic, conversions, and performance across paid, organic, and ecommerce operations.
  • Identify trends and product requirements, evaluate processes, and recommend programs that create new opportunities.
  • Oversee catalog management with continual improvement and accurate maintenance.
  • Define the optimal product portfolio and catalog mix across online channels and routes-to-market (RTM).
  • Analyze consumer needs and competitive offerings to guide best practices and emerging trends for the consumer experience.
  • Collaborate with the Demand Team to improve forecast accuracy.
  • Contribute to the consumer journey strategy and roadmap to grow loyalty beyond sales alone.
  • Manage the branded DTC storefront and related execution platforms.
  • Drive profitable growth and ROI (e.g., ROAS) through partnerships with marketing to execute search and performance marketing strategies.
  • Understand customer strategies and build differentiated joint business plans with shared goals.
  • Implement a robust subscription and retention model to enhance customer lifetime value.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Marketing or related field.
  • 2–4 years of direct e-commerce management experience with DTC models; additional commercial sales experience is a plus.
  • Proven success driving growth on marketplaces such as Amazon.ca, Amazon.com, and Shopify.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing analytics (SEO, SEM, Display, Social).
  • Ability to utilize Shopify analytics, Google Ads, and webmaster tools to analyze data and drive ecommerce growth.
  • Experience with ecommerce platforms, site design principles, content management tools, and integration with back-end systems.

Other information
