Whether that’s lakes, trails, powder days, or just soaking up Columbia Valley life with your family, we want you leaving your shift with energy left for the good stuff!

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You know great procurement isn't about squeezing suppliers for every last penny. It's about building strong partnerships, making smart decisions, reducing risk, and ensuring the teams around you have what they need to do remarkable work.

You're the kind of person who sees around corners. While others react to supply issues, you're already working on the contingency plan. You get a weird amount of satisfaction from a well‑run sourcing strategy, strong supplier relationships, and making complex decisions look simple.

You'll also lead and develop a team of procurement professionals, creating a function that is not only efficient and effective today but ready to scale with the business tomorrow.

Procurement strategy and business partnership
  • Shape and execute procurement strategies that help the business grow, scale, and do great work.
  • Build procurement into a trusted partner that helps teams make smart decisions, solve problems, and create value.
  • Turn data, reporting, and supplier insights into practical recommendations that support better decisions.
  • Lead the evolution of procurement processes and ways of working that make procurement more consistent, effective, and scalable.
  • Keep an eye on market trends and supplier opportunities, bringing fresh thinking and commercial insight to the table.

Strategic sourcing and supplier management

  • Develop sourcing strategies across packaging, manufacturing, equipment, logistics, and indirect spend categories.
  • Build strong supplier relationships that balance cost, quality, service, innovation, and reliability.
  • Lead sourcing projects from supplier selection and negotiations through to contracts and implementation.
  • Establish supplier scorecards, business reviews, and performance measures that drive accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Turn strong supplier relationships into long‑term partnerships that help the business succeed.

Supply chain risk and commercial management

  • Build sourcing strategies that strengthen supply security and help protect the business from disruption.
  • Spot supply risks early and work with suppliers and stakeholders to solve them before they become bigger problems.
  • Reduce reliance on single‑source suppliers while maintaining quality, service, and operational needs.
  • Stay informed on supplier, commodity, and market trends to support planning, budgeting, and decision‑making.
  • This role is responsible for procurement across all company spend categories except green coffee. Green coffee sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management are managed by our dedicated Coffee team.

Team leadership and procurement excellence

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing procurement team.
  • Create an environment where people can learn, grow, and do some of the best work of their careers.
  • Build the skills, systems, and capabilities needed to support the next stage of company growth.
  • Drive improvements that make procurement easier, smarter, and more effective.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, curiosity, and continuous improvement.
  • Champion best practices that improve efficiency, strengthen supplier performance, and help the business thrive.

WHY THIS PLACE IS DIFFERENT

As Canada’s #1 selling whole bean coffee, demand for our organic, Fairtrade beans keeps climbing from coast to coast. That means one thing: we need more awesome humans on our team. We’re gearing up to grow big while staying true to what got us here.

We’ve been making kick‑ass coffee for 30 years. We roast every bean in the Rocky Mountains, smack dab in the middle of nowhere. It’s where we’ve built something pretty special.

We don’t cut corners. We don’t do average. And we definitely don’t do half‑assed. From how we source our beans to how we treat our people, we’re all in.

WHAT WE VALUE

Do What’s Right. It’s not always neat and tidy. It means taking care of people, the planet and the business. No posturing, no greenwashing, just grown‑up conversations and real accountability.

Never Half‑Ass It. We’re on a mission to annihilate mediocrity. It’s about craftsmanship, care, and commitment. It’s about creating something we’re proud of, every time.

Cut the Bullshit. It’s about systems that work without waste, kindness without drama and root‑cause thinking over quick fixes. When we cut through noise, we make space for what matters: trust, clarity, and meaningful progress.

Be Remarkable. Every now and then, we crank the dial past ten. We’re not here to play it safe or follow the crowd. We’re here to break patterns, defy expectations, and drop a few jaws along the way. If it’s forgettable, it’s not for us.

Do It All With Love. Love? Buck yeah, Love! It’s our not‑secret ingredient. We care deeply about the work we do, the people we work with, and the impact we have. That love shows up in every cup.
