Technical Sales Specialist

Reporting Line

Regional Sales Manager

Your role and responsibilities
  1. Sells products/systems/services to customers, focusing on volume, mix, and profitability targets for the assigned divisions.
  2. Establishes and maintains effective customer relationships to understand their needs, promotes their understanding of ABB's complete product/systems/services offering, and aligns with them to provide a solution.
  3. Builds relationships with the consultant base and influences specification positions.
  4. Ensures a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
  5. Prepares sales plans using ABB authorized tools.
  6. Works closely with segment managers, marketing, and RSM to execute the regional sales strategy.
  7. Creates added value for the customer and ABB, ensuring successful transactions, contracts, and proposals through effective sales techniques.
  8. Communicates delivery details, payments, and general terms and conditions to customers, aligned with ABB's offerings and strategy.
  9. Ensures efficient marketing activities and communicates value propositions to customers.
  10. Identifies and develops new market opportunities in the designated area.
  11. Manages administrative procedures in sales processes and supports cash collection and project management activities when needed.
  12. Collaborates with the Field Application Engineering team to ensure comprehensive coverage of consultants in the region.
  13. Ensures technical and financial aspects of offers, including pricing and trading conditions, are appropriately addressed.
