We're looking for a good communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment. With a natural sense of hospitality, the Food and Beverage Manager ensures the smooth operation of all meeting spaces, lobby bar, breakfast room, and room service. The role emphasizes profitability and adherence to the establishment's standards. The ideal candidate enjoys leading a satisfied team and providing excellent guest experiences.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Ensure successful operation and profitability of banquet events, meetings, lounge, and breakfast services
• Coach and train employees according to Groupe Germain service standards
• Provide guidance and support to Assistant F&B Managers and team members
• Schedule the supervisory team to ensure full coverage
• Assist the Director of F&B in staff recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, training, development, and performance management
• Conduct quarterly talent reviews
• Hold quarterly departmental communication meetings
• Attend operations and department head meetings as required
• Schedule staff and management based on business levels
• Maintain inventories and ensure equipment is functional
• Maintain quality standards in production, service, and guest satisfaction
• Establish and maintain safe working conditions and practices
• Coordinate regularly with other departments

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• At least three years of experience supervising personnel
• Proven ability to plan and organize events effectively, with excellent time management and attention to detail
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written; proficiency in a second language (preferably French) is an asset
• Assertive, professional, positive attitude with leadership skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; outgoing and persuasive personality
• Knowledge of current licensing and employment laws
• Understanding of food hygiene and health & safety regulations
• Knowledge of sales and marketing techniques
