Role Summary

This entry-level role involves direct client interaction and management. Reporting to the Project Advisor/Project Manager, the Coordinator will support various Occupational Health and Safety initiatives, demonstrating a strong understanding of OH&S and client management. It provides an excellent opportunity to develop project management skills and collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
  • Engage with clients to understand their OH&S needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Draft OH&S deliverables such as Job Hazard Analyses, Manuals, Procedures, Employee Handbooks, and Risk Assessments.
  • Implement operational plans and risk management strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Develop and execute delivery plans for assigned clients.
  • Generate and analyze reports to ensure project alignment with goals.
  • Support escalation procedures to address challenges promptly.
  • Attend client meetings and provide detailed follow-up notes.
  • Collaborate internally to streamline processes and leverage implementation capabilities.
  • Stay updated on industry developments through events, trade associations, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Contribute to developing new OH&S products and services aligned with industry best practices.
Qualifications
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety, Public Health, or Human Resources
  • Proactive, organized, and able to manage time effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate across management levels
  • Effective meeting leadership skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of provincial health and safety laws and regulations
  • Strong project management skills
  • Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
