Role Overview

The HCM Project Coordinator role is an entry-level position ideal for someone looking to start their career and grow within a company. The Project Coordinator works closely with Project Managers to assist in managing the Implementation phase of CMiC software. Responsibilities include performing administrative and coordination tasks such as preparing project schedules, maintaining documentation, and facilitating customer communication.

Reports to: Senior Payroll and HR Implementation Specialist

Core Competencies: project coordination, documentation, communication, forms development

Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Coordinate project activities, resources, equipment, and information
  2. Break projects into manageable tasks and set timelines
  3. Act as project lead for customer implementations upon request
  4. Collaborate with clients to identify requirements, scope, and objectives
  5. Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with scheduling
  6. Create and maintain project documentation, plans, and reports
  7. Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel to monitor hours, plans, and expenditures
  8. Ensure client needs are met as projects progress
  9. Analyze risks and opportunities
  10. Monitor project progress and resolve issues
  11. Serve as a point of contact and communicate project status
  12. Ensure standards and requirements are met
  13. Travel to customer sites up to 10%
  • Strong communication and consultative skills; ability to build relationships with users, team members, and service providers
  • University Degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience with enterprise software implementation, either on-premises or cloud-based, is an asset
  • Ability to manage change processes, communicate changes effectively, and support stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel to the US without restrictions
