Job Description

Job Summary:

The Contracts Manager supports the Contracts function for Teledyne Digital Imaging ("TDI"), overseeing TDI’s machine vision and scientific camera business units worldwide.


This role involves drafting, negotiating, and reviewing contracts for TDI, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, laws, regulations, and corporate policies of Teledyne Technologies Incorporated.


The Contracts Manager collaborates closely with Sales and Marketing, Operations/Program Management, and Procurement to support contract implementation with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.


This position requires strong relationship management, initiative, and the ability to drive matters to conclusion efficiently. The role reports to the Director, Contracts & Legal, and involves domestic and international travel. The preferred location is at a North American Teledyne office, with hybrid work arrangements considered.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Draft, negotiate, and review contracts related to the sale and supply of TDI products and services.
  • Support tender and proposal preparations, including compliance with procurement regulations.
  • Draft and review contracts with distributors, sales reps, OEMs, and third-party channels, including due diligence.
  • Handle procurement contracts as needed.
  • Prepare NDAs and other documents using approved templates, including negotiations and modifications.
  • Ensure all quotations, tenders, proposals, and contracts are approved and executed per company policies.
  • Manage contracts to ensure compliance with commitments.
  • Identify and report potential disputes, litigation, and compliance issues to the legal director.
  • Support audits and implement corrective actions.
  • Perform other contracts-related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications And Work Experience

  • Post-secondary degree in law, business, or commerce preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in contracts management, including drafting and preparation.
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasive skills.
  • Knowledge of organizational standards for tenders, proposals, and contract negotiations.
  • Understanding of Canadian and U.S. export control regulations.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
  • Proven experience in managing complex contracts, risk identification, and problem-solving.
  • Effective interaction with cross-functional teams.
  • High ethical standards and commitment to compliance.

Salary Range

$66,800.00 - $89,100.00
