Job summary

Summit Start Riverview in Calgary, AB is seeking an Early Childhood Educator (Level 2/3) for the evening shift. The role is full-time and requires Alberta Level 2/3 certification, CPR/BLS First Aid, and a strong ability to work within a team.

You will design and deliver childcare programs aligned with our core values, maintain a hygienic environment, and stay current with licensing standards, while building relationships with families and the community.

Qualifications

• Alberta Childcare Level 2 or 3 Certification required.
• Shifts start in the afternoon at 3.15 pm and end at 12.15 am.
• Strong personality and lots of energy.
• Valid Standard First Aid with CPR Level B or C.
• Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector within last 6 months.
• Teamwork ability and excellent English communication.

Full Time Summit Start:Riverview, Calgary, AB, CA

Salary Range: $24.05 To $27.62 Hourly

Responsibilities:

• Always ensure that the facility is hygienic, safe and healthy for children
• Be knowledgeable of and adhere to licensing standards at all times.

Requirements:

• Alberta Childcare Level 2 or 3 Certification. (We are only hiring Level 2/3 candidates for this position)
• Comfortable with shifts starting in the afternoon at 3.15 pm and continuing until 12.15 am.
• Great personality and lots of energy - You'll need it!
• Valid Standard First Aid with CPR Level B or C Certification.
• Clear & Valid Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector obtained within the last 6 months.
• Ability to work exceptionally well in teams
• Excellent verbal and written skills (English)
