BrightPath Kids in Cochrane, AB is hiring an Early Childhood Educator at Levels 1, 2 or 3 to work with teachers and families, providing a home-like environment for children in our care.

You will develop and implement BrightPath’s curriculum, maintain a safe, clean classroom, assess children’s needs, collaborate with parents and staff, attend meetings and professional development, and enjoy benefits including a childcare discount, tuition reimbursement, RRSP match, and paid holidays.

Qualifikationen

• ECE Level 1/2/3 certification or B.Ed./Equivalent.
• Must meet province requirements for childcare employment.
• Current Standard First Aid and infant CPR.
• Current immunization and health assessment as per local Health Requirements.

• Developing and implementing a program in line with BrightPath’s curriculum that supports the development of children.
• Maintaining an environment that protects the well-being of children.
• Assessing the abilities, interests, and needs of children and discuss progress with parents and other staff.
• Establishing collaborative relationships with co-workers, management, and families.
• Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities as necessary.
• Working to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
• Other duties as assigned.

What will you be doing?

As an Early Childhood Educator - Level 1, 2 or 3, you will work side-by-side with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care. Responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing a program in line with BrightPath’s curriculum that supports the development of children.
• Maintaining an environment that protects the well-being of children.
• Assessing the abilities, interests, and needs of children and discuss progress with parents and other staff.
• Establishing collaborative relationships with co-workers, management, and families.

• Working to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.

Requirements:

• Early Childhood Education - Level 1, 2, or 3 Certification OR B.Ed./Equivalent
