BrightPath Kids in Cochrane, AB is hiring an Early Childhood Educator - Level 3 to work closely with teachers and families, creating a warm, home-like environment for children in our care.

The role focuses on implementing BrightPath’s curriculum, assessing child development, and collaborating with a team to ensure safety, learning and well-being. Full-time on-site position with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• ECE Certification Level 1-3 or B.Ed./Equivalent required.
• Must meet provincial requirements for childcare employment.
• Current Standard First Aid and infant CPR.
• Immunization and health assessment as per local health requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a program aligned with BrightPath’s curriculum.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive learning environment.
• Observe and assess children; discuss progress with families and staff.
• Collaborate with coworkers, management, and families.

What will you be doing?

As an Early Childhood Educator - Level 3, you will work side-by-side with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care. Responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing a program in line with BrightPath’s curriculum that supports the development of children.
• Maintaining an environment that protects the well-being of children.
• Assessing the abilities, interests, and needs of children and discuss progress with parents and other staff.
• Establishing collaborative relationships with co-workers, management, and families.
• Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities as necessary.
• Working to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
• Other duties as assigned.
