Job summary

Kids & Company in Calgary is seeking an energetic Early Childhood Educator to support children's development within our classrooms. You will maintain documentation, implement an Emergent Curriculum and collaborate with a team to foster growth.

• Work with professionals, such as Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Early Interventionists as necessary
• Support children through transitions in and out of the classrooms
• Meet all classroom ratios as outlined
• Participate and interact in team meetings and workshops

Specifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels with children, parents and co-workers.
• Ability to utilize computer systems for all documentation, reporting, and classroom operations
• Strong collaborator and team player
• Ability to take initiative in and out of the classroom
• Strong problem-solving skills

Qualifications

• ECE certified (Level 2 or 3)
• Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check
• Valid Standard Child Care First Aid and CPR Level B
• Ability to push, pull and lift up- to 45 pounds
