Kids & Company in Ottawa, ON is seeking on-call supply RECEs at our Ottawa Albert location to support daily classroom activities and supervision.

You will collaborate with lead teachers, therapists, and staff to foster a safe, nurturing environment that encourages growth, curiosity, and confidence in children while maintaining documentation and following health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Registered with the College of ECE in good standing.
• Clear Vulnerable Sector Criminal Reference Check.
• Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C.
• Up-to-date immunization records and two-step TB test.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 45 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Maintain documentation, reporting, and record keeping.
• Implement an Emergent Curriculum.
• Support children’s emotional, physical, and behavioral well-being while fostering social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills.
• Maintain attendance and health and safety checks.
• Collaborate with professionals such as Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Early Interventionists.
• Support children through classroom transitions.
• Meet all classroom ratios as outlined in CCEYA.
• Participate in team meetings and workshops.
