Job summary

BrightPath Kids is hiring an Early Childhood Educator - Level 2 in Calgary. You will work closely with teachers and families to create a nurturing home-away-from-home environment for children.

Responsibilities include implementing BrightPath’s curriculum, ensuring child safety, assessing growth and engaging with parents. This full-time role offers comprehensive benefits and career growth within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• ECE Certification at Level 1, 2 or 3 or B.Ed./Equivalent.
• Must meet province requirements for childcare employment.
• Current Standard First Aid and Infant CPR.
• Current immunization and health assessment per local health requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a program aligned with BrightPath’s curriculum to support children's development.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment protecting children's well-being.
• Assess abilities and needs of children and discuss progress with parents and staff.
• Collaborate with coworkers, management and families.
• Attend staff meetings and professional development as required.
• Maintain classroom materials neat and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What will you be doing?

As an Early Childhood Educator - Level 2 you will work side-by-side with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care. Responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing a program in line with BrightPath’s curriculum that supports the development of children.
• Maintaining an environment that protects the well-being of children.
• Assessing the abilities, interests, and needs of children and discuss progress with parents and other staff.
• Establishing collaborative relationships with co-workers, management, and families.
• Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities as necessary.
• Working to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
• Other duties as assigned.
